Looking to step past the performance of basic bolt-in replacement shocks in the back of your Tacoma?

These hoops weld to the frame and fit a 2" or 2.5" dia. by 12" travel shock in the rear of a 2nd and 3rd gen Tacomas. Better yet, these hoops will fit both remote resi or piggy back resi style shocks AND they're designed to bridge past and clear bolt-in hydro-bump stop kits such as those offered by King, Trail gear, etc.

The shock relocation hoops are fabricated from 1/4" and 3/16" plate and 1.75" DOM tube, fully welded and ready to be welded to your truck. **Ships bare steel, must be painted!**

Includes Left and right side-specific shock hoops, (4) axle shock tabs, 1/2" grade-8 shock mounting hardware. Shocks are not included. We recommend King 2.5x12" Piggy back resi, or remote resi.

Installation and fit notes:

Requires welding to frame and axle
Requires cutting old shock mounts off frame and axle and grinding everything clean. OE bump stop pad can stay, or these hoops should fit around aftermarket hydro bump kits that mount in factory locations.
Extended brake lines will be necessary
Tested shocks are 12" travel with rough lengths 32.5" ext and 20.5" compressed
Will require 0 or negative offset wheels plus 1.25-1.75" wheel spacers to keep tires from rubbing shocks under articulation. This is very dependent on individual setup and tire size on each truck, we run 35x12.50's on a 0 offset wheel with 1.5" spacers on OME springs with Archive hangers and have little to no rubbing.
