When adding a front bumper for winching and recovery it quickly becomes apparent that the factory frame end plates are quite weak and need some help. Every bumper mounts to these locations, some better than others, and while we've included bolt-on reinforcement plates with our front bumpers for years to help with this issue, those are not a full solution. Enter our Weld-on frame reinforcements!

These plates are CNC laser cut from 10gauge (.135") cold rolled steel and brake formed to overlay the factory frame plates effectively increasing the total thickness to just over 1/4". However we didn't stop there! The plates extend upward over the original frame end plates and then wrap around the front body/core support mount on the frame which adds significant support and provides potential for additional bumper mounting locations as well.

Don't wait until your factory frame plates are cracked and peeling off the frame, take care of the issue straight away and enjoy worry-less recoveries on your offroad adventures!
